The Maximiser examines and addresses any weaknesses in your interview technique so that you can be prepared and confident from that first question, to the last. Before the session, I will ask you to complete a short questionnaire, so we can maximise our session and focus on your highlighted issues. During the session expect mock interview questions, exploratory follow-up questions and challenging questions—just like a real interview. This is so we can examine how you respond to different and difficult questions, and assess the best way for “you” to respond in the actual interview. Where we find a gap, we will develop suitable strategies. The actual strategies we develop will very much depend on your experience, personality, confidence and comfort-zone, because it is vital that you can deliver your answers like you mean them. Which brings us to another important element of what I help you find: a performance. An interview is a performance. If you deliver it convincingly, you win. Simple. We also look at “types of questions”, because if you can locker-store an answer for any type of question, then you will never be left without an intelligent and confident answer. The psychology of an interview is a subtle thing, but if you can read it correctly, and quickly, you are able to take charge of your interview. Remember, not everyone is proficient at being an interviewer, so you may need to “help them” to see your strengths. For example, for that unexpected question, which you don’t know the answer to, we can develop an answer that nonetheless impresses. These are the type of situations that can tip the scales in your favour when compared to another excellent candidate. One session should provide you all the help you need for your first, and second, interview, but if you need additional advice, I provide 14-days of email support.
